The ZFR8122 from LILIN a 120 frames-per-second (fps) full HD IP bullet camera, capable of streaming blur-free 1080p images of extremely fast-moving objects for improved security and safety.

By capturing twice the frames of a 60 fps camera, the ZFR8122 empowers security professionals to analyze forensic details in frame-by-frame replay without motion blur or erratic frame jumping.

“In standard applications, 30 or 60 frames per second are practical solutions, but when capturing high-speed objects — such as a dealer handling chips at a casino or a train quickly moving through a rail crossing — they simply don’t provide the necessary detail for evidentiary image review,” said Avett Baltayan, field engineer for LILIN Americas.

“At 120 fps, the ZFR8122 provides more opportunity to capture an individual frame with distinguishable details; for example, when an object may have moved slower or been momentarily stopped, therefore increasing the quality of image analysis,” Baltayan said.

Other niche applications for the ZFR8122 include fitness and sporting events, manufacturing processes, traffic monitoring and other applications requiring added frames so fleeting movements are more apparent, Baltayan said.
