A man fell from a machine and died at a construction facility in Falls Township, NJ, late last month.

The incident occurred at Mount Industries in the 100 block of Pipe Mill Road in the Keystone Industrial Port Complex around 1:30 p.m..

Medics from the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad and Capital Health Emergency Medical Services were called along with police, the fire marshal’s office, and the Falls Township Fire Company saying a 48-year-old man suffered a reported cardiac arrest after falling off a piece of machinery at the site.

“Despite life saving measures taken by first responders, the subject was pronounced deceased while on scene,” police said in a statement.

Mount Industries is a New Jersey-based construction firm. A call to Mount Industries was not immediately answered.

The death is being investigated by township detectives, the fire marshal’s office, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
